Chanting benifits
The Power Mantra can easily and quickly destroy the torment of all chronic sufferers of different diseases.
All diseases become cured, frightened simply by hearing the powerful divine sound of you mantra, who contained the name of God.
As a spark burns if it slightly touches, similarly the holy mantra burns all ignorance as it touches the lips of chanters. Those who sing the powerful mantra of are truly blessed souls as they sustain the earth with all auspiciousness.”
Leave the results to the Lord.
The vaisnava saints are never satisfied by just saving themselves, but always desire to speak the wonderful glories of the holy mantra to all entities.
Our Srila Guru Maharaja told, “If the mirror of the mental system is covered by dust, we will not be able to see clearly; and the advices of the devotees and scriptures may not be properly reflected in the heart.”
In this first level, cleansing the heart means we shall not serve for any personal reward, but always leave the results to the Lord and His devotees, while trying to sincerely please them with our full energies.
Bhava-mahadavagni-nirvapanam:
bhava means this relative and temporary world whose aggressive and antagonistic nature is triple binding:
Adhyatmika.
The troubled feelings and thoughts in the subtle mental system, caused by one’s own mind that like a spider is trapped in the same web he created.
Adhibhautika.
The aggressive and exploitative natures working externally on all levels. These are troubles produced from other living entities.
Adhidaivika
The troubles and obstacles that are dispatched by destiny and the controllers of this universe, like different catastrophes etc.
The burning in the heart caused by these three types of miseries is compared to a blazing forest fire, as no one knows how the forest fire begins. But, the holy name is an eternal fountain of nectar that at once extinguishes these three blazing monsters.
In Srimad Bhagavatam it is said,
“The different processes of self-adjustment like atonement through pious activities, or liberation through the culture of knowledge, or mysticism and meditational yoga etc., do not give the real benefit to seekers of the Truth, but drag the practitioner once again to seek the temporary results of this world.”
The fully ripened fruits of love cannot be extracted from these incomplete methods. The sincere glorification of the Lord’s name, beauty, qualities, and amorous sports with His associates produces at once the complete reality.
The holy mantra dispels all kinds of anxieties and grief.
Continuous remembrance destroys all impediments, diseases and misfortunes. Incessant chanting or remembering immediately reverses all obstacles and strikes at the very root of suffering and distress.
The sun dispels all darkness, the wind scatters very thick formation of clouds. Similarly, the divine Lord resides in the heart of that person who chants His holy names, and permanently removes all his troubles and disturbances.”
